(Sarah's photo, it's amazing! The Brooklyn Bridge [told you we were right on the water] and The Empire State right through the bridge)
If you turn left a little more and look behind you, you'll see 42 Main Street, the building I am staying at. It's right above and to the right of the Starbucks on the 3rd floor
Sarah took these of me. I used to boycott Starbucks like all the cool kids, but man... I just gave in about two months ago. And I'll be damned if I didn't admit that Venti Caramel Frappuccino's are the way to my heart...
On the way to the F Train we passed a pug... the cutest one ever... well next to my pug, Tally, who I miss so much!
I was itching to go to KidRobot, so Sarah and I went to Prince Street. This is Sarah on the A, and me in the reflection
Afterwards we walked through Little Italy
(sarah's photo)
We stopped for lunch and saw Mary-Kate Olsen walk by these very same windows minutes after we sat down and were eating our pizza:

My favorite part was stopping in every single gallery we passed. Some of those included:
Pop! One of my favorite galleries in New York. The first time I went was in 1999.
(all images of galleries are sarah's)
We of course took plenty of time to go shopping. Diesel, French Connection (Of course I got a "I'd fcuk me" shirt,) Paul Frank Store, Ed Hardy, H&M, etc... My favorites were:
I mean, duh. You best believe I found that shit quick ;D
& Evolution: (I just came from working at the Chief Medical Examiner's in NC -- I was in Heaven with a two story store full of all things dead, artsy & related)
(all photos my images)
(Jack Skellington & I outside of Evolution - sarah's photo)
We walked by a market and found a cute hat lady... cute enough to persuade us to buy hats, hah
Hat lady also turned out to be quite a photographer: Sarah & I:
So last Friday, I went to see Kanye (& Rihanna, N.E.R.D., & Lupe Fiaso) and became a pretty big fan. I made Sarah take pictures of the glasses so I could send them to my sister, along with a pair cause I'm a good sister like that
These are just some random shots of graffiti I took somewhere along the way that day..
On our way home stepping off the F train at our stop, York & Jay
We got home late, and I totally forgot it was the opening of the DUMBO Photo Exhibit, from the 14-18th. These aren't good shots, I was handholding a 72-800 f/2.8 on a d200 of our balcony railing at 1/30th of a second... what do you expect? (Excuses excuses). They're just the hundreds of people waiting outside to get a glance... & The intersection where I live
